Stealing is sometimes justified. Only if what you are stealing was not fairly acquired by the person you are stealing from. It is never justified if what you steal was fairly acquired by the person you are stealing from. Should be viewed as a last option.

we all know that cheating is wrong but the truth of the fact is that we all do it and we will always do it. the thing is just how far we go in our cheating if you cheat at a game with a little kid its not as bad as Armstrong who took steroids and used it to win 7 tour de Frances you must know the levels of the cheating.

Everybody is presented with the opportunity to cheat (or not) every single day. I don't think cheating is ever ok. The only time I would justify it is if it affected only the person cheating, but it never does. Even cheating on a test in college- it may look like it only affects only the cheater, but in reality, it affects that person's grade, which affects their rank, which affects other people's ranks. Cheating is not isolated, and as soon as a little bit is justified a little bit more gets justified, until the cheating becomes a big deal. Cheating is never ok.

I liked how he said every person cheats. Even if you think you are the most perfect person in the world. You still cheat or have cheated at some point in your life. I also agree about how other countries tolerate cheating different. Some places think one thing isn't right while maybe here in America it actually isnt that bad. It all just depends on who and where you are. And no matter who you are at some point in your life you will cheat.

I like how in the article he talks about both sides of cheating. He talkes about how it is ethical and how it is not. It really made me think about how in some cases it may be okay to cheat and how in other situations there is no excuse for cheating. Everyone cheats whether they admit to it or not, just some of us do it different extremes. I think that cheating can never be justified to be ethically right.

I think that cheating is okay. We are always presented with two choices: right and wrong. It's our own personal decision to decide what is right and wrong, and then to choose what we want to do. But there is of course a definite right and wrong -- and the wrong choice could potentially affect you in negative ways.

I agree with the idea that when cheating leads to legal, or more serious consequences, it shouldn't be brushed off lightly. However, it's hard to determine where the line is drawn between that situation and his example of a white lie, "you look good in those jeans." It's really a messy topic because who's to decide where that line is drawn or what the difference is?

I think that people's ethics determines if they think it is okay to cheat sometimes, always, or never. I think ethics are usually determined by each individuals upbringing and the people they are around throughout their life. If they are around people who cheat, they may think of cheating as not such a bad thing. It goes the other way too. However, I think that most people are in between since everyone cheats.
